We went to Krispy Kreme one night to celebrate Zach getting more funds for Movieclips The lady at the Cashier gave Zuma this little Krispy Kreme hat, it was such a hit! 

Daddy's B-Day

For Zach's bday Kandi and Dennis flew in and we had a weekend of fun. We went 6 flags and rode roller coasters, went out to eat, Zach and his parents got massages, we went to Zuma beach, drove around showing Kandi and Dennis our fav. places to live.. the weekend was jam piggity packed with fun.

We just got back from Drew and Marin's wedding in Alabama and there had just been a bunch of tornados recently that destroyed these homes, so sad. There were about 600 people who died, those twisters are scary stuff man.

Mothers day

For Mothers day one of my "special requests" was to go to the Harikrishna temple and have lunch at their little resteraunt there. This is my very favorite place to eat, it is nothing fancy, but the food is AMAZING! I could eat here every day. They also have this little store upstairs where we bought this Harikrishna outfit for Zuma, so funny, but I love it(-; 

Also on my list of "special requests" was for Zach to go for a run with me in the morning... well, after that Zach said that he was about to cancel mothers day for eternity, because I got grumpy with him because we went for a walk, but I wanted to run... That is asking to much in Zach's world. I totally was being selfish that whole day and had very high expectations of things I wanted to do. Never again.. I guess mothers day is about letting your fam. do what they want to do for you. Sorry Zachy -poo

Beach day with Abuelita

My mom came to visit during her spring break to help me get Zuma to sleep longer periods of time at night. Zuma was waking up every 2 hours until he was 5 months old, but I just didn't have the energy and I was just to tired to try and wean him of his night time feedings by myself, so I had my mom come out and help me by getting up with Zuma at night, it worked wonders! he now only wakes up once or twice. We love our abelits, she seriously changed our lives, I couldn't have done it without her. I was so beat down that if Zuma cried I would just sleep with him and stick a boob in his mouth, so he just ended up snacking all night. I wouldn't change that I slept with him though, it was great and it helped both of us bond to each other, and it was survival because I couldn't get up anymore to feed him because I was so tired! but the time came where it just wasn't working anymore. If Zuma knows we are in the room, he wants to play with us, and every noise Zuma would make, I would wake up to it...it just stopped working to sleep with him, now he sleeps in his crib in the other room with a cd that plays sounds of the heart beat and rain etc. It is working well for now, but I can't wait for him to be sleeping completely through the night, but let's be honest.. I love getting to hold and nurse him in the middle of the night even though I am SO tired. I just miss him and love being with the little guy.  

Easter

We Celebrated Easter at Bobbi's house in Scottsdale AZ, it has been our tradition for the last couple of years to have Easter with the Wickens's. It was little Zuma's 1st Easter. 

Our friends the Begums had a little bday party for their daughter and they had bunnies! the poor little bunnies were getting so beat -up by all the crazy kiddos, but they were so cute! Zuam didn't know what to think f the little creatures.
